How To Use Coffee For Skin-Care?

Your skin can also use the caffeine kick in the morning: We now also use coffee in skincare, whether as an upcycling cream or as a home remedy.

Coffee can work wonders: whether as a pick-me-up, fertilizer, or cleaning agent – no wonder it is also known as “black gold”. Now we even use it for our skin: There are four clever uses like coffee is his beautifying effect unfolds.

Coffee as a sustainable beauty product

Throw away coffee grounds? You shouldn’t necessarily! You can do so much with it. This is what the founders of the beauty start-up Circle thought: They upcycled brewed coffee grounds into high-quality cosmetic products that not only do something for your skin, but also for the environment.

We have tested it on our own and found: The mild care is not only good for the skin, it also smells gently of tart coffee – more of it!

Coffee peeling

You can also do something yourself with coffee: The cooled coffee grounds can be used to create a great peeling to remove loose skin cells from the T-zone. Simply mix the coffee grounds with olive or coconut oil and add a pinch of cinnamon to the mixture. Complete! Would you like to use the peeling as a full-body scrub? Then add a little coconut palm sugar for the “scrubbing” effect.

By the way: You can of course also use fresh coffee grounds for this – but that would be a waste!

Coffee for cellulite

Do you want to declare war on your cellulite? Then just send the coffee beans to the front! Simply massage the coffee in as a peeling: your blood circulation is stimulated, water retention is loosened and the complexion of the skin is also refined. Allegedly, even the scalp is supposed to be stimulated by intensive coffee massages. Well worth a try, right?

Coffee against dark circles

We’ve heard before people put teabags on their dark circles – but coffee ?! Indeed: Coffee grounds and coconut oil can be easily mixed into a paste that is supposed to help against bags under the eyes and dark circles under the eyes. After just 15 to 20 minutes of exposure, you can rinse off the mixture with water. A real beauty all-rounder!
