Yogurt is healthy and should be enjoyed every day. But what are the positive effects?
Yogurt is considered a fountain of youth. The fermented milk delicacy is a superfood, packed full of nutrients that the body needs: proteins, proteins, vitamins, calcium, probiotic bacteria, and a lot more. Yogurt boosts your immune system
Our immune system not only needs vitamins that are involved in the formation of immune cells in our bloodstream and body cells. The probiotic bacteria in yogurt do just that by producing lactic acid – because lactic acid is poison for harmful germs. Yogurt can inflammation heal
Overweight people in particular often suffer from silent and often undiscovered sources of inflammation. Yogurt protects your heart
A 2018 study by the University of Oxford showed that the daily consumption of yogurt can significantly reduce the risk of a heart attack – namely by around 20 percent in men and even 30 percent in women. The lactic acid bacteria bind and metabolize excess salt in the food in the intestine and this regulates the blood pressure to a healthy level.
Yogurt makes good bones and beautiful teeth
Another metabolic product of lactic acid bacteria is calcium – and plenty of it. A normal adult needs around one gram per day and a 250-gram cup covers around a third of the daily requirement, depending on the type of yogurt. Calcium is especially important for the formation, maintenance, and regeneration of our bone material, and for adolescents, pregnant women, and senior citizens it can also be a little more. Calcium also helps keep teeth healthy, and the B vitamins in yogurt nourish and protect gums. The daily consumption of yogurt also ensures a beautiful smile. As reported, the risk of vaginal infections decreases with the consumption of yogurt. The recommended dose is given here with at least three servings per week.
People who suffer from lactose intolerance should avoid yogurt as much as possible. There is a risk of diarrhea and severe abdominal pain.
