If you know this garlic trick, you’ll never buy garlic bread again – it’s so easy to prepare and the result so delicious.

You need the following ingredients for the homemade garlic bread.


2-3 bulbs of garlic

some fresh or feta cheese

fresh herbs


Salt pepper

Separate the entire tuber from the stem so that each toe is visible. Now put it together with the bowl in a piece of aluminum foil and pour some olive oil, salt, and pepper over it.

Seal the aluminum foil and place the leak-proof bundle in the preheated oven. It is baked at 180-200 ° C for about 45 minutes.

When the baking time is over, check whether the garlic has become quite soft. Then – as in the video – you can simply push it out of the shell. This makes further processes child’s play!

Mix the buttery garlic to a creamy paste with some fresh or feta cheese, freshly chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and, if you like, other spices. This can then be easily spread on baguette-cut lengthways.
