Simply Make Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Yourself

Simply Make Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Yourself

Every fall, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew becomes Starbucks’ favorite drink again. Instead of buying the delicious coffee every time, you can also just make it yourself. The cold-brewed coffee with pumpkin puree only needs a few ingredients.

In the season of the pumpkin, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is once again a popular best-seller at the well-known Starbucks coffee chain.

If you want to enjoy the autumn coffee specialty more often without having to stop by the coffee giant every time, you can simply prepare the drink yourself.

Only seven ingredients are required for this – depending on the preferred diet, the recipe can be slightly modified and, for example, made vegan or without industrial sugar.

You also save a lot of money by doing it yourself.

The cold-brewed pumpkin coffee consists of two parts: the cold brew coffee and the delicious pumpkin cream topping. In total you will need the following ingredients:

cold-brewed coffee

Whipped cream

natural sweetness (maple syrup goes very well)

pumpkin puree

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Vanilla extract

a pinch of salt

The basis: cold-brewed coffee

You can either buy cold-brewed coffee or make it yourself. If you choose to cold-brew the coffee yourself, keep in mind that you will need to allow some time for this.

In this case, you cannot enjoy your Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Coffee on the same day.

Ingredients:

a cup of coarsely ground coffee (about 8.5 grams)

4 cups of cold water (240 milliliters)

Preparation:

Put the cold water and coffee powder in a large jug and stir them together thoroughly. Use a little more or a little less coffee powder – depending on how strong you prefer your coffee. The coffee then has to be chilled for twelve to 24 hours.

After this time, the coffee is filtered. Take a cheesecloth for this (otherwise a tea towel will do) and place it over another jug. Now carefully pour the prepared cold coffee through the cloth so that the ground coffee remains in the cloth.

The first part is already done.

For the second part of your Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Coffee, the Pumpkin Cream, you need the following ingredients:

Whipped cream

natural sweetness (maple syrup goes very well)

pumpkin puree

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Vanilla extract

a pinch of salt

Preparation:Place a saucepan on the stove and stir together the whipped cream, maple syrup or another sugar alternative, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice and a pinch of salt over medium heat until the ingredients have dissolved well and the mixture begins to steam.
Make sure to prevent the liquid from boiling.

Then take the saucepan off the stove, add the vanilla extract, and beat the Pumpkin Cream with a hand mixer. Alternatively, you can pour the cream into a tightly sealable container and shake it well.

Now the Pumpkin Cream is once again placed in a sealable container in the refrigerator to cool down. You can store your Pumpkin Cream in the refrigerator for a while in the container and use it to top your coffee for several days in a row.

Either pour the cooled pumpkin cream onto your cold brew coffee as it is or foams it up again first. Either use a milk frother and hold it in the cream for 15 to 20 seconds or shake the cream in the tightly closed container until it is frothy.

Now cold brew coffee and pumpkin cream are combined. To do this, fill a large glass with ice cubes and pour in the cold-brewed coffee first and then the pumpkin cream. Your much cheaper and healthier Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Coffee is ready. Enjoy it!
